Our carvings range from the very detailed to comical frogs, yet they all start life the same. The strong family ties of the Indonesian people are present in this art form, first the stronger family members will chop the logs into rough shapes, while the others according to their strength and ability, busy themselves with carving, polishing and finishing ensuring that each item is individual and unique.
